A great day out.

Good to meet the cork chapter.
Well done to Bugno for his effort, last i seen he was with a securicor van heading north.

And apologies to the Abbot House for any noise generated during our "de-valued" debate( i won btw).

What a great day indeed. I think my wife got a very long winded and repetitive overview that night. It was great to try the different beers and see the different set ups. I should have paid more attention to the brew's being done onsite but was a bit too busy sampling. I am seriously going to look at moving on from the kits, and might even skip the extract going to all grain but not sure yet. Out of my friends who came, one left with some equipment and yeast to do a cider, and another is putting in an order for a beer starter kit, so mission accomplished there. It's a pity I didn't have more cider to bring, but a good few people got to taste it. I think I will have a few more people who will keep their eyes open for un-used apple trees this year.

Great to meet everyone, and hope that this will be an annual event.

Taf's cider was one of the best things I tasted all day. Kitoog's brown porter was a bit special too.

Okay that's the oscar speech over, the day was brill, great to meet everyone, the night was great craic too. hope to make the trip up to dub sometime during the summer. dying to try out the B&C and some more of those tasty brews all you guys make.
