Deadly.
Was it mainly beer lovers wanting to learn how to make their own quality beer or were there many there trying to discover how to make alcohol and cheap and strong as possible?

Just back from Cork, what a great day! Thanks to all the Cork lads for making it a great fun day and thanks to the Franciscan Well too.
I wonder what the beer brewed on the day will turn out like.

There were a good few people who used to brew and are hoping to get back into it. I think people were impressed with the quality of the sample beers. It certainly got rid of the idea that beer brewed at home is dodgy tasting stuff.

Thanks for the chance to meet some of ye. I had a great time but it's a pity my friends wouldn't get up and go sooner. If I could have I'd have been there all day.

Glad to hear this was such a success.

Would have loved to have went, getting to it from Longford by public transport though is next to impossible!!

Fair play to all involved. Well done lads.

What a superb day. For me as an ICB non-brewing member I must say I really enjoyed so many aspects of the day. As well as seeing great interest in home brewing we also had some seriously good beers to sample and nice to meet up with some new and not so new ICB members. Really impressed with Aleman's mobile bar and his superb beers, really loved the Landlord Beer and his pale ale. Also SBillings's lager (seisum (a million times better than a lager! Also enjoyued some great beers from Bog Myrtle (v. good dubbel!) NImbus, Hendrixcat, TheSoltuionTo and Taf amongst others, oh! and Beernut of course!!!

ALso great to see Peter and Paadraig from the Well doing their home brew version of Rebel Red and Beeristhereaosn's unplanned brew as well. Well done guys.

Some of us adjourned to the Bierhaus and the Abbot's bar as well. I think I stayed on Hooker Dunkel at that stage as it was in both bars.

Really most enjoyable day. Well done to everyone and from the Cork end I must say a big thank you too to all our Dublin and out of town colleagues for coming down and as mentioned previously the great guys in the Well.

Also must add that I felt the Well was a superb location for the event.

It was a great day. I really enjoyed talking to everyone and sharing our beer.

There was a lot of interest in brewing and, judging by the questions being asked, I would say that quite a few new brewers were created last Saturday.

A big thank you to everyone, especially the Franciscan Well for making us welcome and Aleman for bringing his great portable beer tap system.
