Youll be in the santa suit with the L sign trying to blend in with the pipe and beards crowd?

Funny, you don't get the same level of beardiness in Belfast. Anyway, I'm not now going to be staying over, and MrsBeerNut and I will be heading back to Dublin on the trains mentioned above.

Ok, I think I'll confirm that I'll be going along with your inventory Mr Nut. And I thik I'll stand behind you in the queue in Connolly so I can say "what he got", especially considering your last trip.

I think I've convinced n1mbus to join, and possibly Mad Moss. I'll be bringing my notebook and beard, but no pipe. My beard isn't big enough to have sparrows nesting in it, so it probably doesn't count (and I'm not a ticker, just a taster ).

So, are you brining the pasties in a bag TBN? Is the food really that bad there?

Oh, can you buy bottles to take away at it?

I will also be bringing a friend along

That's two beer trips to suburban Belfast ago Anyway, I'm pleased to inform you that both Balmoral and Hilden are now listed on the automatic ticket machines in Connolly.

I was only able to tempt MrsBeerNut along with the promise of Marks & Spencer scotch eggs. I think I'll have to lay a trail of them from my front door to the King's Hall. I think some cheese may be in order too.

"Adeptus":3idds0q2 wrote: Is the food really that bad there?[/quote:3idds0q2]I don't know. I didn't actually get as far as the food last year (and suffered as a result ) but I've heard it is. It was just a dodgy-looking burger van parked out back, IIRC.

I didn't see any non-NI beers for sale. I don't think they have an international bottle bar the way English CAMRA gigs do: or at least they didn't last year.
