My plan is to get the 9.35 from Connolly on the Saturday morning, changing at Portadown to the 11.30 local train to Belfast, arriving in Balmoral at 12.08.

I'm probably going to be staying up north Saturday night, though will likely still be on the 19.16 out of Balmoral to Portadown. This'll give me the option of the 20.41 Enterprise back to Connolly, arriving 22.20. At the changeover there's an optional excursion to McConville's: a lovely Victorian pub across from Portadown railway station.

So, anyone interested in joining my itinerary? And who all is going, by whatever means?

Up to last week I thought I would be - but there's been a change of plan. Enjoy.

Bogmrtyle and I will probably drive up and stay in Belfast on Saturday night.

I'm torn, as I thought I would not be arriving in Ireland till that Saturday, but I am in fact coming earlier. But should I arrive home after 8 months and head off to Belfast for a day of beer after only two days at home?

Anyone else getting the Enterprise back?

TBN, What's the day-rate to Balmoral like? I think I asked last year, but is is as quick to go straight into Belfast Central and get a cab or bus to Balmoral?
