Well Beernut, I was thinking about going up the my self... with Kim from Denmark (you know)....should be great craic anyway....anybody from Cork going?
I hope to make this, but need to sort some work stuff. I had a bottle of the Dark Ruby Mild a few years ago. It's stronger than the traditional modern mild, is it not? Ron mentioned it once I think.

"Ron Pattinson":2tsgra5c wrote: It makes me smile when people accuse Greene King IPA of not being an authentic IPA. In my opinion it is. It's true to the style as it has been brewed in Britain for about 100 years. It's not an authentic 19th-century style IPA. But if you judge British beers by this criterion, then the only authentic beers brewed in Britain are Harvey's Imperial Stout, Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild, Hardy Ale and Whitbread Gold Label.[/quote:2tsgra5c](Link[/url:2tsgra5c])
There is a serious list of beers[/url:3h87hqwv]. What are you looking forward to?
