Sold in one or two pubs in the last week of the awards: it just wouldn't have made an impact. Maybe next year.

Indeed. Over 300 members and only 25? Low turnout all right. How come? How could it be made easier for people to vote next time?

online poll rather than email in? can't get to the forums until you submit?
And of the 300 members, there are 212 with less than 10 posts, so i suspect there are a lot of redundant accounts..

Yes, we'd been thinking about an on-line version, so we can plan for that next year. And yes, there are a lot of low post counts, but also a lot of new members and lurkers. A mailshot to remind people might be an idea.
