Personally i'm not bothered my mug didn't make it to tv, but i am p****d off that they never aired someone arguing for change, and why we should support the micro/homebrew industry. After all it was a lot of effort to organize the day, with little in the way of results. Upon reflection, some of my comments may not have been suitable. On the upside, my employer is very happy with free advertising during a prime slot.
Thanks to all for representing the B&C in a positive light.

You beat me to it Geoff - much and all as it would have been nice to see your mug on the box your boss will have been very happy with the segment. It is a pity though that they cut the piece where you showcased the good Irish craft beers that are available, none of which were mentioned - which is strange given the amount of time devoted to a certain larger brewer.

More over since they said they where not to be seen to give undue a brand attention

Well done to all concerned.

My first time seeing the programme, a lot of time wasted I thought about being Oirish, sat nav etc. but again well done to ICB people involved!!

Just a general comment on the program, but each episode seems to have enough material to easily expand it to an hour long, but was heavily edited down to half an hour.
Ignoring the bits they completely missed out on, the bits that did make it in always seemed too brief. That's the sacrifice for getting a BBC2 prime slot, I guess. Hour long episodes on BBC3 or 4 might have been more fruitful.

Totally different ethos and demographic though (especially BBC3[/url:12oewavp]). This was intended as mass [i:12oewavp]mass[/i:12oewavp] entertainment, which is what it is.
