Yes. I think we should do one pale beer section, then food, then dark beers, with any interpretation allowed within that. Bitters and milds will do fine for the latter, and you can pass your share of any porters or stouts along to me.

I'll second that Séan. Its too warm for porters and stouts in the summer (hopefully)

whats the craic with this tasting night? where is it held? I have a few bottles of my stout I brewed a couple of months back but its from a kit so its probably not worth anyone tasting

my stout actually tastes pretty good surprisingly! its just I thought it was only for brews made from scratch type of thing

Meanwhile, are we OK with the proposed format?
1. Pale(ish) beers
2. Food (deli-style, as per previous tasting, price agreed in advance)
3. Dark beers

Any advance on that? These always run long, so I'd be in favour of starting [i:30r373cf]on the dot[/i:30r373cf] of 7. Better to run out of sample beers than have some left over.

Silenus, is this feasible from your point-of-view? How much are we talking per person?
