I've been to Dubrovnik. A week is a bit long in fairness, you could probably manage with 5 days. You'd be home in time for the testing so if you went Sat-wed.
Some fantastic food there though, I was there in 2005.I quite liked "Zlatorog" and Lasko while over there - and they come in 1litre brown PET bottles which are great for brewing.
Make sure you do the walk around the city walls, it's awesome.

I'll have an ice cold Bud Light while sitting on a terrace overlooking the glorious Adriatic basking in warm Croatian sun that evening as a tribute to all who do attend.

Thanks kenmc for the Dubrovnik related advice, but this won't be my first trip so I've been around the walls and gorged myself on the excellent seafood previously. I'll keep a look out for the drinks you mentioned though I doubt I'll be doing any bottle collecting.

I leave you alone for a few weeks and we're back to Stouts and Porters again!

I am not brewing a Stout or Porter for consumption in July. I'll want lighter bees at that time of year.

I have no problem with Stouts\Porters being part of the tasting session, but can at least some of the Blond/Golden Ales; Blonde/Belgian Pale Ales; Bitters; Milds; Fruit Beer; etc. be represented too?

C'mon people, can I play too?
