It's time to start looking at this. We tend not to do bank holiday weekends as they can be hard for many to get off but they do allow for a longer trip.

I'm free this May bank holiday but not June.

Other dates that work are
May 10th
June 14th
July all weekends at the moment.
August bank holiday.

In terms of where.... All these campsites are walking distance to a town.
Kilkenny (treegrove)
Wexford (ferrybank)
Wicklow (redcross)

Arse of nowhere but great reviews.
Tipperary (apple farm)

Any other suggestions welcome.

Wicklow Brewing Company are set to open in Redcross in July.

Wexford is really good nowadays, sky in the ground has a great range and prices for bottles along with a few draft craft. Simons place is also a good spot and has beoir #1 atm! I heard there is going to be another craft bar opening in the upstairs of a tradionally old man pub soon too.

So east coast looks good. I was using beoirfinder to make the selection.

Hopefully I'll be able to go again this year. I would probably prefer July and only one night for me, but not the last weekend as there is a worldwide phenomenon taking place in Dublin that weekend, wait for it.....I love Country music, there I said it...

Redcross is good, Mickey Finns Bar onsite has Craft beers, but as far as I can remember there is NO villge.

I would prefer somewhere near, as even Dungarvan was a stretch for one night camping, with the travel and packing all the stuff up, so yeah Wicklow or Wexford or Tipperary.

So i love Country music, camping, check shirts but not whiskey, whoa I was getting worried there for a minute, redneck boy.

I'm off the same opinion which is why I'm excited about an east coast or leinster trip.
In the past, it had been some distance. It would be nice to leave work Friday and be camping in time for dinner rather than arriving after 10pm.
