I voted Murphy's ahead of O'Haras in a blind tasting (having recognised both) but it was marginal.
I find draught wraslers too strong tasting. The bottle is great though.

The celebration O'Hara's was great. As was Black Pearl from Messrs.

Guinness Foreign Extra and Special Export ARE worth a mention for the sake of argument. The looks some people give you though when you tell them that Guinness is ahorribly bland drink is funny but depressing.

I brewed a porter last month and my wife tasted it at the weekend, her first response was 'that's much nicer than Guinness', I'll still take that as a compliment

It's a bit like people who only eat burger and chips, put a fine piece of Italian or French cuisine in front of them and they either go "that's yuck" or they see the light.

It's getting your regular Guinness drinker to even TRY sometihng like an O'Haras that's half the battle. Many drinkers are conditioned to expect bland almost flavourless beer. I'm assuming this topics been done to death on this forum though
