Also will be interesting to see if they get Irish micros in. I'd assume they will, could be a great bit of extra business for them (the micros).

They've always had a big thing for local breweries, so I don't see why they wouldn't carry Irish micros if they're going the craft route at all.

They haven't even signed the papers on the property yet. I'd be very surprised if they had boots on the ground here yet. For the breweries I'd say it'll be like selling to any other large multiple, even if it's not quite multiple here yet.

Should also point out that they did buy a premises on Capel Street about 10 years back but ended up not doing anything with it.

I remember when the new stadium on Lansdown Road opened it started importing Guinness from the UK where it's sold cheaper. If Wetherspoons bring stock over from the UK they could well have a big commercial advantage over local bars.
