Lots of people do. O'Hara's highlight the I, the P and the A on the label, so it was always going to happen. Before that it was called The Goods Store IPA.

On their website O'Hara's even say "Contemporary style I.P.A." (I wouldn't agree with that, but there you go)

I disagree strongly, however, that Goods Store and O'Hara's IPA are the same beer.

Completely different colour for a start. The Goods Store IPA I drank was similar to PH Hop head in appearance.

All over their official Facebook[/url:33ph0ybf] page O'Hara's call it IPA. Under tasting O'Hara's describe it a "contemporary style I.P.A.", so I think it's fair to say O'Hara's call it an IPA.

I haven't had GS IPA so I can't comment.

Also I'm nearly sure Seamus refers to it as IPA in conversation. Not that I think it makes any difference, as he's just making life easier for himself, and who wouldn't...

Sarcasm aside, you don't believe it's GS IPA renamed, as much as I don't believe it fits the Irish Pale Ale category.
