Anyone want to head to against the grain tonight? There is a meet the brewers from trouble brewing night on. I will be in the about 6:30

Against The Grain appears to be repositioning itself as a disco bar/sports pub. Was in there last Friday, couldnt hear myself think with the music blaring, the barstaff could barely hear me when I eventually fought my way to the bar. Now they are installing a massive screen to show sports upstairs! It was nice while it lasted I guess...

I haven't been in there in a while but their FB updates would suggest so. The cost of staying in business I suppose. Nice beer in a disco bar is better than nothing.

I was in there yesterday. It was noisy- not due to music, but because it was wedged. In terms of the TV, at least (for the moment) it's only upstairs.

Cask Thornbridge Halycon too. And the Galway Bay Beers (as noted elsewhere) have improved no end. Milk Stout & IPA especially.
