M&S Yorkshire Bitter 18 years 3 days ago #1

Marks and Sparks are now stocking the bottle-conditioned Yorkshire Bitter in Ireland. Well, Jervis at least. About time.

Except I just noticed the bottle I bought has a Display Until date of April 2008 and a Best Before of May 2008, so I'm assuming this is stock that they couldn't shift in the UK that they're throwing us instead of binning it.

Anyway, €3.29 a pop. Thanks to Hendrixcat for the heads-up.

About bloody time. The bottles are pictured in the beer section, which always annoyed me. “Look, here's a picture of what you can't have!” I hope it's still in reasonable condition.

Wait a second. €3.29? With sterling the way it is that is bloody extortionate!

Standard practice for UK retailers here.
