I've had the Discovery from a Cask in a little pub near the UK office of the company I work for. I actually enjoyed it (it was when it was hot and we were sitting in a beer garden), but as I recall I did move onto the Adnam's broadside after a couple Discoveries (I think!)
Strangely enough, the first time I had Hobgoblin was in a pub of the same name in Aylesbury, owned by Wychwood. The amazing thing about the place (apart from the blood and teeth on the floor) was tha it mostly sold macro fizz and alcopops. All the Wychwood gear was in bottles (not sure of they do casks/kegs regularly anyway), but even then you'd be lucky to see one or two of their beers in stock. Sad. But that's Aylesbury for you. <!-- s:( --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_sad.gif" alt="

Oh, and I think it was Marston's that Thom was talking about on Saturday when he was talking about light-struck beers? Or was it an IPA? Anyway, the bitter is in a clear bottle too.
