Hey Guys,

Heading over to Belgium for the easter weekend. We haven't picked a city/town yet where we are going to stay - anyone got any recommendations? Looking for somewhere with great bars, good atmosphere, preferably a brewery or two

Hard to beat Bruges. Pretty, compact, at least one world-class bar and a brewery. Although I've been at Easter and it gets pretty packed with non-beer tourists. The scum.

You get the same only bigger in Antwerp and Brussels and the crowds would be more manageable, I'd say.

Lovely city, a few great bars. I don't know that I'd spend all of a long weekend there, but everywhere in Belgium is easy to get to from everywhere else.

I'd say no matter where you go in Belgium you'll enjoy good beer. I spent a few days in Brugges last year and apart from being a stunning place it was beer heaven! Great little brewery to visit and top class beer everywhere you go!
