Well in their defence, it may be subtle. very subtle. SO subtle that it's invisible without knowing that it was shot in Argentina. The argentenian navy[/url:uqxgbikx] was founded by an Irishman. There are also a lot[/url:uqxgbikx] of Irish descendants living over there. So there is a strong Irish connection.

But of course the real reason for picking Argentina is that the 'extra' fees for these folk was almost certainly a fraction of the price of the same number of people from Connemara. <!-- s:D --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="" title="Very Happy" /><!-- s:D -->

The add cost £10,000,000! The extra fees are a minuscule fraction of that, regardless of where they are from.

Drop in the ocean or no, it is breathtaking amount of money to spend on one ad.

Well, they specify that the [i:2bvvkfbm]campaign [/i:2bvvkfbm]cost £10m, so who knows what part of that was the making of that ad as part of the campaign. It must cover a load of stuff like paying to get it onto the telly, printed materials and all that stuff.
