Ah, sure it's a nice little ad all the same. I just don't understand why, if Guinness is so Irish, they go all the way to Argentina to make an ad. I mean, why not some small community in Connemara or something? Do the small mountainside villages of Argentina have a massive Guinness-drinking population? Does it reinforce what the marketting people think we should be thinking/feeling about Guinness? Just seems weird.

Anyway, £10m is probably a tiny drop in the ocen for Diageo.

It's ok. But any domino-style ad is going to be a poor second to that car one a couple of years ago.
