Part of the reason "local" is a thing people support is the trickle-down effect: that as much of the money as possible circulates locally. You get less of that effect from beer brewed abroad.

I've a vague memory that EBCU were putting together a policy on this, but I don't know if anything came of it.

When will you're gastro pub be opening approximately ? I live in Meath (Dunshaughlin)and would love to go and try you're ales and food.
