After mentioning Brook Lodge to my wife her eyes lit up. Good bye Galway.

Strawberry Tree served me the best steak I've ever had in Ireland.

I think this thread is indicating a recent, new niche market opportunity

There are lots of 4* 5* hotles in places that provide fantastic rooms/food/service/staff/wines/locations - That is why the are still in business!!

However, for an extra couple of cases of ICB or a keg they could then qualify for the Beoir "His and Hers" 6 Star award.

All the above accolades plus ICBs for him ( or if you are slightly alternative then: ICBs for herself whilst himself enjoys the spar and the beauty therapy )

That place hasn't served me a bad meal yet. And its menu has one of the most extensive range of game of any restaurant in Ireland.

Says on their site that they make their own stout too, no sign of it?

Looking for a place to head away in September and this place looks great anyway.
