Pub Auctions: Weir's Dun Laoghaire 14 years 1 month ago #1

Reserve seems a bit high to me (considering a pub in Bray went for €177k at the last AS aution), but I'm not familiar with the pub or the area.

Thoughts?

Was in it once for a lucozade watching a match. Dont remember much about it.
Id say that wouldnt be a bad price - assuming it includes the license and no sneaky payments - i.e. you're just buying the property and the license. Not the business and depts. Its at the "nice end" of dun laoighre too. But thats not necessarily the busy end!!

Searsons of baggot street is a landmark pub in Dublin. It is closed for a few months now, story is the parent company went bust and the person leasing it owes money to Diageo. It was them that closed it. Wonder what it will go for.
