Things to do in Cork city? 15 years 1 month ago #13

If you like Italian , wander over to Castelli on Princes Street, it's my favourite little spot , ( I never go anywhere else for Valentines ) and has great lunches . They may even have 'Oc Ale in there still which is interesting , but to be honest the wines are always so excellent in there I stick to them ( the Montepulciano D'Abruzzo is always perfect)

The other recommendations are good too, but in the type of food they do in the Strasbourg , Amicus and Hardwood I'd rather go for Market Lane on Oliver Plunkett Street.
Hardwood does have the advantage of the Bierhaus being adjoined ( so you can order beer from the Bierhaus menu I think )

In other things to do , the Crawford always has something interesting ( Art gallery ) and the Vision Centre is always good for a look in ( North main street )

UCC is worth wander around , they have the new Lewis Glucksman gallery there in the Grounds , ( Free as are the others I believe )

If I think of more I'll let you know , Theatre is one thing to check out and see what's going on , and there is always music .
