Speaking of hops, my own first gold has grown to over 6 foot (first year in the ground), and I may get to harvest some cones. At least ten! I'll try to take some photos, and dig out the old hop thread.

If you don’t dry them, you will need to add around 5 times the amount of fresh to dry hops

Oh I would love to grow my own hops, but those of you who were at the first tasting session and so saw my back yard, will know why that is not going to happen.

I really like First Gold too. I use 100% First Gold in my favourite bitter.
