Well, turns out Dad was kind of hoping/expecting that I'd say the B&C again, but I explained to him that I didn't think they had any food of the snacking kind <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

We went to the Port House and while the two little tapas things we got were great, Dad wasn't impressed by the beer, purely on price grounds. Now, to be fair, it's really nice beer (I've promptly forgotten the brewery again - begins with a P) - Dad had the stout, which was *fantastic*. Huge coffee flavour off it. I had the red ale, which was nicely hoppy in taste, though a bit lacking in aroma. I thought both beers were grand, but at €5 for a 250ml bottle dad felt we were being ripped off (I didn't really want to point out that that's what you pay for "real" beer)
We retired to PH Central for our second drink, where Dad got the 4X and I got my first Kwak. Dad tasted mine and swiftly decided to follow his 4X with the same <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="

But I'll definitely go back to the Port House when I've a yen for tapas and port <!-- s;) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="
