Nope, not the same cylinder. I phoned HB about this before.

S30 = Super 30

I am about to start using some 20 litre s/s kegs ( similar to Cornies ). At present I use the poly kegs ( the slightly cheaper, less easy to clean ones ) and the S30 gas from Hamilton Bard

A major point for me is that s/s kegs and cornies of all sizes are easy to store as they stack easily either vertically or horizontally while conditioning. Poly kegs do not stack!!

By the bye has anybody checked yet if Harvey Norm and the otheres are offering refills for the Soda Stream bottles? At what price? While D&D refill them?

I won't be out of the house much for the next few weeks

Cheers Will

I have no experience of the king keg, but I have to say that investing in a corny set up was the best decision I ever made and has brought my enjoyment of brewing to a whole new level

The tap on it is pure shite, you can't control the Co2 pressure - it's too much when you top up with Co2, then eventually becomes just right for about 2 pours and then too little after you pour another pint, repeat ad nauseum.[/quote:2d7kpbnt]

I too am toying with the idea of investing in a Corny set up. What would be very useful would be a complete list of everything required. I've read up a bit on it but tend to get a bit confused. For instance what diameter pipe is required?, what would be a decent tap? etc. etc.
