TOPIC:

A dozen or so English breweries are brewing (or have brewed) imperial stouts for export to Russia next summer. They'll be leaving Greenwich in a clipper on 15th May, calling at beer festivals in Copenhagen, Stockholm, Helsinki, Tallinn and finally St Petersburg on 17th June.

They're still looking for crew for the various legs, so if anyone fancies it, the details are here[/url:36je7fea].

Certainly would be a good time to plan a trip to St. Petersburg, though.

I read about it on a notice in a pub toilet. I doubt previous sailing experience is a major requirement.

Usually no experience is necessary on tall ships - just a willingness to muck in.
