I presume you mean a "getting stuck into the beer" mindset, 'cause my software developing involves a good deal of looking at rubbish on the 'net and posting worse rubbish on the internet forums.

They don't part with them that easy because they have to pay a deposit on them. I'll have a look into and try to get a hold of a few

A few (country) pubs nearby stack their empties in crates at the side of the road. A less honest chap than me might be tempted to pick up a crate of empties while walking past.
