In fairness they are €3.20[/url:fklcgose] in the off license and since the average mark-up for craft beer in a pub is almost twice the off license price then this is good value as it is less than twice the off license price.

On the upside Galway Hooker is a palatable €4.50 <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Hardly! I don't think it's worth that price at all. The best part of 6 Euro for a beer is too much

Oh it is not worth €5.70, don't get me wrong but each beer needs a markup and since the Dungarvan beers are not cheap to buy in the first place, they can't be expected sell them on at a much lower percentage than normal just so people will actually buy them.

When Dungarvan are able to bottle cheaper and pass the savings on then the price will drop.

I suppose the real question is, how much are they going for elsewhere, like B&C for instance?
Is O'Haras not €5.75 in B&C and a similar price in the off license to Dungarvan? - Not including Tesco of course.

In fact a lot of the Irish bottles in B&C are €6 so €5.70 is in fact a [b:2x2li5px]good value[/b:2x2li5px] when faced with that fact.

Don't get me wrong, if out, i'd probably pay it without even flinching. I just dont think it's good value as you said it was. Even if it is the going rate
