I can confirm that it is a regular beer now, both upstairs and down, but they wouldn't make any promises on how long for. It is selling well, though.

They have the proper tap-badge thingies now, and the downstairs tap is an oar. You can't miss it. There are also posters around the place saying "There's a new Hooker in town and she's bitter". Mmmm, tasteful.

One of the barmen last night told me that they'll have it for the forseeable future. He also said it's selling really well. Very encouraging

I dragged some Guinea Pigs in from work a couple of weeks ago and was very pleased to see their reactions to Hooker. It was a taste sensation to them. We also let loose the Goose, and that went down a treat too. Gotta love those IPAs <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

(Blarney BLonde went down particularly well with the gang too I must say.)

I'm going to sound pedantic here, but, everyone seems to be referring to Galway Hooker as an IPA. I wouldn't consider it to be in that style. Since it's of conventional strength would it not be just an American Pale Ale? More Sierra Nevada than Goose Island.

It's great to hear that it's selling well. I'm well pleased for Aidan and Ronan that they've made a niche for themselves which is going down well.
