That's about all we can do when brewing in a bucket from a kit. Ideally, it could do with more, but you probably aerated the wort when you topped up with water, which I imagine you splashed in from a height.

I'm Mick from Phibsboro. I'm attempting my first brew. It's a Muntons india pale ale kit that I'm trying out. It's 4 hours old and the room temperature is about 20C.
[b:bi2ksuqs]I really like US west coast (Oregon) beers[/b:bi2ksuqs], so was recommended to chuck in some cascade hops to add to the taste before I bottle.
I'm sure I'll have lots of questions over the coming weeks. Hopefully no disasters and a nice result for the christmas.

Sounds like you'll enjoy home brewing!
If you move on to extract or all grain brewing you can have a lot of fun experimenting with different American hops. It's very easy to make great tasting American ales.

I'm doing a kit of this, put it in primary on the 20th, its still bubbling away, get back to us with the taste in the new year and we can see what effect the hops have had.

Definitely eaten it, you'd then be able to clear concert halls with the smell you could produce with your bottom burps.
Also the trite answer I believe is; brew more beer.
