I wondered what happened to that menu, I thought it was a good idea that would get people thinking about beer/food matching whether they ordered the exact meals on the menu or not.[/quote:2oogb0z7]
Likewise. I'm surprised it was seen as a gimmick. My former colleagues seemed to really like it, as it opened up taste experiences. And that was before I started preaching at them!

We're slowly bringing beer back to food. So far we have the BBQ sauce made with Galway Hooker, the Bangers and Mash have O Hara's stout & onion Gravy, the steaks have a choice of Wild Mushroom & Belgian beer sauce(Leffe Blonde), Tyrconnell malt whiskey & pepper sauce, or you can have a side salad with chery beer vinegaraite.

There's also homemade brown bread with O Hara's stout.

The owner is keen to introduce the Gastro meals back into the equation. The head chef is already working on some dishes, so hopefuly we'll have some good food & beer combinations some.

Stay tuned !!

Good news.

Though I always liked the way you made the beef pie with cooking stout
