My goodness. They're clearly all out of Galway Hooker in the Whitehouse bar[/url:1a006og1].

What a wasted opportunity. That's one small beer for one man, a giant step backward for the greater beer drinking community.

Surprised to see the blogosphere pick up on this already. My post was tongue-in-cheek, but it shows that my knee jerked along with a thousand others.

I do disagree with Lew Bryson's position (who tends to be forgiving of any brewery, as long as they don't use child labour), but accept that this event is of course about the big man levelling the playing field.

Nice to see Obama watching his carbs, in any case.

He's also gotta be showing thats he's supporting the major American brands, espeically in these times. The things politicians have to put up with for a few votes, eh?

I know blue moon is packaged a little disingenously to look like a little craft beer(I seem to remember some crap on the label about brewing with friends blah blah that made it seem like it was brewed in a barn somewhere, and not "high up in the rockies") But I think it's quite a nice beer actually

I particularly liked Pete Brown's balanced opinion[/url:1je68ok0]. After watching some beer video casts[/url:1je68ok0] on the matter, it just made me pissed off. Let them drink what they like!
