Has anyone else seen the ad for the new Bud bottle? Aluminum. Served at -5deg! How can you taste anything at that temp?
I only saw it yesterday.

Taste apart (given there's not much to ruin), I always thought it was a great idea, in a country where drinking outside is pratically a national sport and broken glass during festival time is a real threat to those wearing flip-flops and sandals.

I saw heineken for sale in these bottles around the time of the rugby world cup (summer '07). They were a crazy price though, I think around 3 euro a bottle (in Amsterdam, where a bottle usually costs 60c)

In Spain they're just standard price, great news for the bars, who can be held liable for broken glass in the street.
