Hi everybody
let introduce me to all of you
I'm Paolo ,33-years old homebrewer, trying to grow some hops in Rome, Italy.
I bought this bare root hops from <!-- w --><a class="postlink" href="www.aplus-hops.co.uk">www.aplus-hops.co.uk

1 x Fuggle Bare Root Hop Plant
1 x Prima Donna Bare Root Hop Plant
1 x Early Bird Bare Root Hop Plant
1 x Wye Challenger Bare Root Hop Plant

I recived roots just a couple of days ago.
The Prima Donna will grow in pot and the others i will plant in the garden of my parents at Capena a small ville nearby Rome.
At this moment they are all in pots but next sunday i will bring them to Capena.
These are the pots with roots in them:

I think you will mostly be giving US hints and tips, as I don't think there are any (?) members here in Ireland growing hops (successfully?).

I know of at least one ICB member who is growing hops: richiehamilton. And I'm glad to say I'll be joining forces with him to grow some on an allotment in the not too distant future. We're planning to order some German hops in the next few days and see how they go.

I have and a couple others I think, One vine has nearly a foot of growth already this season
