Yep. Unless phil_L is shipping without UK VAT and duty. Which I'm guessing he isn't.

Obviously, the beer nut has seen my weekend activities, when I am not hauling my ass around Europe and the US in search of our beloved beverage. But, I think he's got it nailed.

Just in case Big Brother is reading this, yes, we pay all taxes on beers locally, on import. We pay the obvious VAT sales taxes. What we were concerned with is that we didn't want "to break the law" - I have purchased a fair few things from websites around Europe, and not incurred any extra duty charges. The only time was a a big very expensive hoodie from the US.

Over the inception period, we sent case around Europe, and not one was intercepted by any official body. Nothing was lost in transit,or taxes asked for...?

So, perhaps, I wait with anticipation.

For anyone who was wondering, I got an e-mail from beerangel today following up from my post at the top of this page, to the effect that they would send me out the missing bottles and apologising for the delay in responding. Honestly I was expecting them to tell me to complain to DHL, so I'm very happy with this outcome.

So essentially, beerangel have just about the best customer service I've ever come across, right up there with that 18 hour delivery I got with my first order from the Homebrew Company. Fair play to them!

Got my box of beer in the post today. Not bad delivery, just over a week.
Was surprised at how well they were packed. Although one of the bottles did leak. Not too dissapointed though as it was one of the bottles that i got two of.
