looks like ordering online from another EU country is a matter of taking a chance.
Now can anyone tell me how much duty would have to be paid if you get caught buying a case of beer costing 30Euro.
Do you pay the difference in duty between the two countries? do you have to prove that what you have already paid included a duty from the senders country?

By that does it not mean that its up to the seller to ensure that all the purchasers excise duties are payed?

That's what I took for it... Sounds like it'll be good to go for awhile then the price will suddenly jump to accomodate the exise.

It's €0.1987 per Litre pre degree of alcohol. So 20 bottles (10L) of 5% beer will be just under a tenner.
