They said they were doing an article on whirlpooling, and the image was of a manual whirlpool, which I am sure many people do, so they wanted to use it as it was a good illustration of such a technique.

It was in the september issue, page 12. An beginners techniques article by Betsy Parks about Whirlpooling. Good article. I read it and started using the technique but I never noticed the photo was from Irish Craft Brewer.


BYO is great, I always end up with new information after reading it.

Beers of the world is more about beer and breweries not brewing your own beer. I only have one copy of it so can't say if it's consistently good.

There's another article on whirlpooling in this months BYO and your photo (and n1mbus's arm) make an appearance again! This time Chris Bible, author of the article, gets the photo credit though <!-- s:? --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_confused.gif" alt="" title="Confused" /><!-- s:? --> That's not the only ICB appearance though - one of the main articles is a piece by Les_Howarth on gbbf clone recipes. Nice work!
