Hi all,

I just wanted to introduce myself.
I live in North Tipperary overlooking lough Derg, where I am in the process of converting the garage into a brewhouse.
I have been working on it for nearly a year now, but mashing the odd brew seems to get in the way of the building work.
I have only recently returned to brewing from a 15 year break when previously I used malt extract, but was tempted to full mash and since there was only 1 way to go for me.
I lookforward to talking with you in the future and hopefully meet up in the Munster area to share samplings.

Please excuse the lack of IT skills, I only just worked out how to used a knickname. I must be a real dinasour.

Thanks for the welcome.
I will be at Tara's for the begining of the festival (Wed & Thu) however I will be in the UK for the weekend propoer.
Tara's would be my local and Alison has asked me to host a beer quiz on the Thu evening. I did it last year but it was a fairley small turnout.
I heard that there may be a Homebrew competition as part of the festival. Is there any more details yet?
