I notice on RateBeer you have several Irish beers listed as having been served on cask. I can assure you, sadly, that these were all kegged.
We wouldn't want to get visitors' hopes up. I was reading a blog recently where a London-resident Australian, bored with local Guinness, wrote about looking forward to coming to Ireland for an authentic pint of hand-pumped Guinness. Poor kid.[/quote:3jlfli1z]
A nice evening, it certainly was! It's a pity Knut had to head off with his dancing shoes under his arm, but it was nice to meet him and to meet Michael also. I didn't feel all that hectic heading in to work the next morning though....
