Hey Folks,

Just wanted to thank everyone for the friendly welcome on Wednesday past and to say that it was great to meet you all - it's always good to put faces to names..

A fine evening was certainly had.

Hopefully it'll not be too long before i'm down again...

I notice on RateBeer you have several Irish beers listed as having been served on cask. I can assure you, sadly, that these were all kegged.

We wouldn't want to get visitors' hopes up. I was reading a blog recently where a London-resident Australian, bored with local Guinness, wrote about looking forward to coming to Ireland for an authentic pint of hand-pumped Guinness. Poor kid.
