I was guided by getting the best deal.

It's cheaper to buy them in drinkstore when you include the 10% discount now...

I'm not surprised to be honest. Apart from being able to charge what they like, they have a very important factor to consider.

If they undercut off-licenses by a significant amount, they might have difficulties selling their bottles to off-licenses and that could jeopardise their business.

That's not a very helpful or fair comment.
I think you mean just businesses being businesses. Simple economics really.

There was a reason we are all so shocked at the price. It was incredibly low for those beers.
