Irish Craft Beer Bottles 12 years 9 months ago #1

Hi All,

I have a restaurant in the west with a good boutique vineyard wine list and am looking for a must have list of bottled Irish Craft Beer (and Cider) to stock - all recommendations appreciated. Currently have Hooker and the Eight Degrees range.

O'Hara's Leann Follain works extremely well with food. Also look at seasonals (limited edition) beers- Dungarvan have their Cromeragh Challenger 2013 out right now.

Leann Folainn - great beer, we find it hard to shift the porter/stout though. Will certainly get a some of the comeragh in.

Being a restaurant, the White Gypsy stuff is perfect! 750ml bottles that look very nice on a table. They are perfect for sharing.

Nice one - haven't seen them around Galway but will make a call today.

From my point of view, a full range of O'Hara's or Dungarvan bottles would cover a lot of the bases in terms of people's tastes and food pairings. Kinnegar, McGrath's possibly?

I'd second the White Gypsy suggestion for larger table sized bottles and with the dubbel and saison for something a bit different.

Pairing suggestions and tasting notes on the menu might be an idea.
