Had the new Fran Well IPA last night: 7.5% single hopped with Citra. Was pretty good - loads of caramel (too much for my tastes) and some nice tropical, citrus & herbal fruitiness in there too. Was all fairly muted though, Citra can do a lot more in a beer (especially at 7.5%), but it was a good effort. Hopefully it bodes well for the future!

I had the IPA at the Secret Beer Garden- it was still a little green (Shane confirmed this) out appeared to have a lot of potential. IMO sticking a load of hops into a brew is sticking fingers up to Corporate.
Where did you find it Alex? Would love to try a "mature" version.
