It's not finished - i.e. underattenuated.
Quiet when you pop the cap, just a film of head when pouring and too sweet.

The way it's labelled makes it look like one to age, so maybe this will sort itself with time, but right now to me it's just not ready.[/quote:221v2ei6]

A week later and no comments - I hope we've not grown too polite to discuss quality control issues.

I didn't intend to dislike this beer, but it was flat when I opened it and I'm not the only person this happened to.[/url:221v2ei6]

Constructive criticism for the betterment of the Irish craft brewing industry - isn't that one of the things we're supposed to be about here?

Haha - my Ratebeer account being put to good use for once! Forgot to wade into the discussion here...yep, no carb whatsoever, vegetal, odd - not bad...but equally not great. That said, a good pal of mine whose beer opinions I trust had a bottle of it and enjoyed it thoroughly!

Fran Well IPA we are talking about here?
Yes, it was released too early. Shane wasn't too happy about it but what's done is done.

No carbonation issues when I had the coffee porter. The IPA needs more hops.
