With apologies for dragging this thread back to within an ass's roar of the original topic, I conducted an experiment today by going into the Porterhouse in Temple Bar and asking for "a Brainblásta". I wasn't entirely surprised to be given a pint of it. Once again Porterhouse marketing is in a place quite different from The Porterhouse.

I wasn't disappointed, mind: it's a lovely beer.

Haven't had Brainblasta in quite a while. I will be in town tonight so perhaps I'll indulge.

I found the Brainblasta a decent full beer. Definitely a good idea to serve it in half pints only as big risk of too many eejits going off the wall on pints of it - not putting Beernut in that league I hasten to add!!! The glasses look good too - will probably bceoce good collectors' items!!!!!!!
