Just gone on tap in The Bull & Castle and tasting pretty good. Not as smooth as the Schneider one, but some lovely toffee-banana dunkelweiss flavour topped by a big bitter hop kick.

One noted friarweisse drinker called it " banoffi Weiss "

I like it but I don't think I could sink pints of it all night.

Tasty stuff: definite hit of citrus and pine once the big Weizen character subsides. Not too sessionable though, even though it's only 5% ABV, gets fairly full-on!

Great to see something like this being brewed - it's been a good few weeks for Irish beer!

Just drinking a pint of it now, and very nice. Way different to either the schnieder or Brooklyn ones, but definitely going in the right direction.
