Tried the Fullers porter at the weekend. Really enjoyed it. Great value also <!-- s:) --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_smile.gif" alt="" title="Smile" /><!-- s:) -->

Surprised to see this as I'm not a fan of Fullers IPA yet found the BL to be a nicer beer. Maybe my taste buds are trying to fool me based on the label that my eyes see?

Not necessarily - I read that BL is bottle-conditioned while IPA may be pasteurized.
I find Bengal Lancer much nicer as well.
