ok, i'm new enough to this craft beer lark
but have appreciated the better beers over the years
but i'm floored by this stuff, its in my top 5 if not top 3

i started buying it in next door but there was
often a gaping hole where it should have been,
is it a well respected beer? it seems to be,

id often be in the mood for different beers
and not in the mood for others but this baby never fails

Brown malt i sessential for that unique flavour around 10% will get you there

Lovely beer as are many of Fullers beers.

With regard to a clone, Plenty of Brown malt with lots of Chocolate malt and Crystal ..... and dont forget the Fullers yeast!

I think the cask version is a winter seasonal, could be wrong

Its one of the few where the bottle version is a good as the keg
