O'Shea's Irish Pale Ale 13 years 8 months ago #1

I see Aldi are selling this, it's 4.3%, I presume it's from Carlow. Is it very different fron the branded version? At €1.79 it would appear to be good value.

Yep, it's from Carlow. It is different, but the boys at the brewery are keeping mum about what the differences are.

It's noticeably lower abv for starters!

All the O'Shea's beers are different recipes from the main Carlow ones. Though they are the same recipes as the older 330ml Aldi branded bottles.

What Aldi was this in? None in my local one.

Had a few bottles of it last night, tasty. Well worth the 1.79 & good to see an IPA of any description in Aldi <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
